As a text­book intro­vert, I was very much drawn to Zara Picken’s recent illus­tra­tion series, which was inspired by Susan Cain’s TED Talk, The Power of Introverts. Great talk; beau­ti­ful illustrations.

Type Love: Kumla

Letters from Sweden recently intro­duced Kumla, a dis­play face inspired by let­ter­ing on the façade of Kumla Skofabrik, a shoe fac­tory in Sweden. This type­face is the first of a new series enti­tled, “Fabrik Suite,” which is inspired by Swedish indus­try, fac­to­ries and har­bors.
