Color Happy 163

I’m loving this cool, crisp color palette found in a book design from Mucho’s portfolio featured on September Industry.

Ehrenstråhle & Wågnert: Modesty Branding

In my opinion, this stark, minimalist design — by Ehrenstråhle & Wågnert—is perfectly apropos for a high-end clothing line named Modesty. I’m also loving the dramatic black and white photos and selective pops of peachy orange.

Vintage Animal Illustrations by Staffan Wirén

I can’t get enough of these vintage animal illustrations by Swedish illustrator Staffan Wirén. Each alphabet illustration was found in the children’s book, “Ingen rädder för ABC inte heller för 1−2−3″ (“No one is afraid of the ABC, nore of the 1 – 2-3″), a book produced and distributed from The Savings Bank.

NB Studio: This Year…

This Year… is an annual piece by NB Studio sent to clients and friends as an alternative to the typical holiday card. Each year they focus on a particular theme and collaborate with various artists and designers. For 2012, they collaborated with Andy Smith, Dan Funderburgh, Jean Jullien, and Paul Davis on the topic of the world’s impending end.
