I’m currently enamored with these two great sites that celebrate the city I love so much:

I have a thing for logos incorporating badges or crests. So naturally I’m loving this identity system created for the Rockville, Maryland-based Feynman School, created by Tenfold Collective.

I’m one of those people operating under the assumption that there are very few truly unique ideas out there. Everything, to some extent, has been done. However, I know I certainly haven’t seen this before. In order to create the identity for Sculptivate, UK-based design firm ROOT took the unique approach of pushing PlayDoh through a stencil. And the result is colorful, playful and one-of-a-kind.

First of all, thanks so much for the overwhelmingly positive responses to our invitation designs! We love that so many of you love them as much as we do.
And second of all, apologies for this week’s posting delay! Please enjoy a Tuesday edition of quick links. More to come!

Since posting about the Save the Dates for my upcoming wedding almost 6 months ago (wow!), we have been extraordinarily busy planning for the big day. One of the pieces we have spent the most time on, as expected, is our invitations. And now, finally, they have been packaged up and sent out, so I can share them here.
I’ve already done a big post about them over at my wedding blog, so here is just a little sneak peek. If you’d like to see more check out that post, or our flickr set. And stay tuned for one more follow up post with a couple more details. Have a great weekend everyone!
