As many of you know I’ve recently begun shifting my focus to design for events, through Seamless Paperie. So today I am extremely excited to unveil my latest project, a contribution to Nonpareil Magazine! For those not in the know Nonpareil is a online publication all about modern weddings from a DIY perspecive. It was designed and created by Maddy of The Inspired Bride and Kristen of Paper Crave, two blogs that you should check out immediately if you haven’t already.

So this latest issue, “A Silver Screen Soiree”, is all about weddings and events inspired by TV and film. Each team was faced with the task of taking a film and developing it into a full blown event, from paper goods to flowers to table decor and so on. And my team, which consisted of the amazingly talented Sarah Brysk Cohen of Blossom of Branch and photographer Maggie Harkov—we also used a color board by Amanda Halbrook of 100 Layer Cake as our color palette inspiration/jumping off point—worked with Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief.

It was a lot of work, but so. Much. Fun. I would gladly do it again in a heartbeat. Please check out our entire spread starting on page 40, and definitely don’t miss all of the other events in this oversized issue. We are in amazing company!
