The design world lost a legend this week with the passing of Massimo Vignelli at age 83. Earlier this week Photojojo launched a new product I’m really excited about: Engineer Prints, $25, oversized (3ft x 4ft) black and white prints made from your own photos.
The Sign Painters documentary has officially launched. The film is now available for streaming and download on their site as well as in iTunes.
I just came across Chipotle’s Cultivating Thought series, a writing and illustration project conceived and curated by Jonathan Safran Foer. The series presents “the words and whimsy of thought-leaders, authors and comedians through unique, you’ll-only-find-them-here essays, each illustrated by a different artist.” Check out the eleven existing designs right here.
