Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

Mirth & Co. is a two-person, book­binder and designer team out of Austin, Texas. Their “pur­pose is to pro­vide prod­ucts to help peo­ple engage with the finer things in life, like the ideas we con­ceive, the peo­ple we love, and the places we inhabit.” For their ini­tial prod­uct line, they’ve devel­oped a series of note­books in five sizes, three exte­rior col­ors and two inte­rior page style options. Each one is sewn by hand with linen thread, allow­ing for a stronger, longer-lasting bind­ing, and a higher qual­ity prod­uct overall.

They cur­rently have a Kickstarter project up that seeks sup­port for this ini­tial launch, and will allow them to pur­chase mate­ri­als print and pro­duce the note­books. They’ve got a cou­ple weeks to go to achieve their goal, so head on over to Kickstarter and show them some support.
