Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

Yesterday Monotype’s new font rental ser­vice, SkyFonts, offi­cially came out of beta and released pub­licly. The ser­vice gives users access to over 8000 fonts, allow­ing them to try any font for free for up to five min­utes within any desk­top appli­ca­tion or spend cred­its to rent fonts for as long as they’re needed. I haven’t had a chance to try it out myself yet, but it cer­tainly seems like an intrigu­ing con­cept. There’s been lots of times I’ve wanted to try out a type­face in a design con­cept before pur­chas­ing, so I could see this com­ing in handy in the future. Sign up for your own account right here.
