Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

Grant Gold is an inter­ac­tive designer who will soon be tak­ing his tal­ents to Rdio as a prod­uct designer. I don’t have any expe­ri­ence with Rdio myself; but I know those who use it rave about it, so big con­grats are in order.

Before now Grant has also worked on var­i­ous inter­ac­tive prod­ucts at both Google and Squarespace, where he devel­oped sev­eral site tem­plates (as of yet unre­leased) that imme­di­ately caught my eye. Since I’m a print designer at heart, I’m espe­cially drawn to his CMYK theme, which you can see below. But they’re all really great — check out László and Imprint in par­tic­u­lar — super clean, stream­lined and func­tional. Squarespace is another app I’ve never used but have heard great things about. And see­ing the details of these tem­plates has made me think I might need to take a closer look.
