Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

It’s a bit of a trav­esty that I’ve never fea­tured the work of Designer/Artist/Writer/Thinker/Teacher Nicole Lavelle in this space — not really sure how that’s pos­si­ble. In any case, now is the time. Nicole is cur­rently tak­ing part in a Design Writing and Research Summer Intensive at the D-Crit MFA pro­gram at the School of Visual Arts here in New York. To off­set some of the costs, she’s opened up an Internet Store where she’s sell­ing all kinds of fun stuff, from post­cards and art pieces to art­work com­mis­sions, includ­ing the pieces below.
