Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

You may not know the name Jesse Ragan, but you cer­tainly know his type­faces. Since his grad­u­a­tion from RISD in 2001 he’s con­tributed to many HF&J favorites—Archer, Gotham, Sentinel—and Darden Studio’s Omnes, just to name a few. He recently launched a brand new site (also beau­ti­fully designed) that fea­tures all of his type­faces and let­ter­ing work, includ­ing those we all know and love. But I was espe­cially drawn to his cus­tom work for V Magazine, a gor­geous high con­trast sans serif that acts as the publication’s pri­mary type­face. Take a look for your­self right here.
