Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

As I men­tioned ear­lier in the week, I am very much inter­ested in design­ers’ per­sonal projects. So nat­u­rally, my inter­est was piqued by From Cover to Cover, a project by Jenny Volvovski (one third of the design team at ALSO) where she redesigns the cov­ers of the books as she fin­ishes read­ing them. In order to keep the designs cohe­sive she gave her­self a few con­straints: a choice of green black or white for color, Futura, type­writer or hand­writ­ing for text and scanned paper or draw­ing for the image.
