UK-based pho­tog­ra­pher Emma Hartvig’s love of sto­ry­telling, film and cin­e­matog­ra­phy is undoubt­edly appar­ent in each of her images. In her own words: These pho­tographs of mine cap­ture iso­lated moments with no past and no future, and an imag­i­nary pos­si­bil­ity hangs over them like a preg­nant pause, play­ing to photography’s nar­ra­tive strength.
