I look forward to the Studio on Fire letterpress calendar every year, and this year’s version does not disappoint. For 2012, they’ve employed the stellar illustration skills of Missy Austin, Brian Gunderson, Dipped in Acid, Jolby and Tuesday Bassen to bring to life the theme of Positive Apocalypse. And the chosen color palette is right up my alley; I can’t wait for it to brighten up my desk in a couple of months.
It’s true that I’m always a fan — I’m pretty sure I place my order within 60 seconds of spotting the post each year — but, in my opinion, this iteration clearly takes the cake. If you’re interested, you can read more about the process and design details on Beast Pieces and pick one up for yourself in the shop.
