Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

Minneapolis has such an amaz­ing design scene, includ­ing an espe­cially high con­cen­tra­tion of tal­ented female design­ers. So it was great to see the devel­op­ment of WOMN: Women in Minnesota Design, an exhi­bi­tion put together to honor women’s con­tri­bu­tions to the field, by the College of Visual Arts. The pro­mo­tional pieces for the event were designed by Laurie DeMartino Design, one of the women cel­e­brated in the show. Unfortunately it’s just recently closed, but you can still check out a few images of the event on AIGA Minnesota’s Facebook page or the CVA slideshow.
