For a solo show in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jordan Metcalf cre­ated Pictures | Words, a “range of type and image based pieces in var­i­ous medi­ums includ­ing lay­ered, laser engraved & die cut wood, lino cuts, scratch board illus­tra­tions and ink paint­ings.” I’m thor­oughly impressed with the design, crafts­man­ship and mes­sage — I’d be happy to have any of these pieces hang­ing on my walls.
