Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

Iowa State senior Ryan Hubbard had the for­tu­nate expe­ri­ence of intern­ing at 160over90 this past sum­mer. Under the art direc­tion of Dan Blackman—who we are big fans of at dwl — he cre­ated a Visual Journal that incor­po­rated one unique piece per week. Each design uses var­i­ous tech­niques, includ­ing Ryan’s own pho­tog­ra­phy, and the pack­age is tied together visu­ally with a con­sis­tent color palette and phys­i­cally with a kraft folder and belly band.
