    While I appre­ci­ate the typog­ra­phy and over­all lay­out, I have never liked the heavy impres­sion of mod­ern let­ter­press print­ing. When I was taught let­ter­press print­ing the “kiss” impres­sion was what it was all about. The abil­ity to deliver the max­i­mum amount of ink cov­er­age with the min­i­mum impres­sion was the mark of a true craftsper­son. This heavy impres­sion stuff screams “cheap” to me.
