Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on a review copy of Mike Perry’s Pulled, A Catalog of Screen Printing, which can per­haps best be described as a love let­ter to the art form. The book includes a brief how-to guide, but the bulk of the mate­r­ial is a sur­vey of some amaz­ing exam­ples of screen print­ing by con­tem­po­rary artists — some of whom I was famil­iar with and some of whom were new dis­cov­er­ies. I can def­i­nitely say I closed the back cover feel­ing truly inspired and know­ing that, with­out a doubt, I will revisit often for a jolt of cre­ative stim­u­la­tion. So go out and get your copy, — I highly rec­om­mend it.
