I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on a review copy of Mike Perry’s Pulled, A Catalog of Screen Printing, which can perhaps best be described as a love letter to the art form. The book includes a brief how-to guide, but the bulk of the material is a survey of some amazing examples of screen printing by contemporary artists — some of whom I was familiar with and some of whom were new discoveries. I can definitely say I closed the back cover feeling truly inspired and knowing that, without a doubt, I will revisit often for a jolt of creative stimulation. So go out and get your copy, — I highly recommend it.
