Marcio Kelmanson: St. Regis

To cel­e­brate St. Regis as a leg­endary New York Jazz venue, this pro­mo­tional CD was released in part­ner­ship with Jazz at Lincoln Center. Designer Marcio Kelmanson brought the music to life through its pack­ag­ing, using a dynamic lay­out that fea­tures typo­graphic, brass instru­ments.     I love this piece. It feels like there’s a lot of energy in the CD just by look­ing at the art.

    how awk­ward are those white gloves? I pre­sume its a con­duc­tor or some­thing, but very dis­tract­ing and weird.
