Gerren Lamson

Today I’m pleased to fea­ture Gerren Lamson, an Austin-based designer at Springbox, whose port­fo­lio is brim­ming with a vari­ety of col­or­ful designs, illus­tra­tions and hand-drawn type. This par­tic­u­lar project was cre­ated as a Valentine’s Campaign for Central Market, and fea­tures nine choco­late horo­scope types along with a set of slid­ers to help users deter­mine what sign they are. Additional func­tion­al­ity also includes options for users to share their signs through face­book, as well receive prod­uct rec­om­men­da­tions and coupons. Check out the demo right here.

    I think The Richards Group deserves some of the credit for the look and feel of this cam­paign since it is based on their posters (look, feel, color palette, fonts, etc.)
