Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

The cur­rent iter­a­tion of Grain & Gram, an online “Gentleman’s Journal”, inter­ests me both in sub­ject and in design. The look and feel is sophis­ti­cated and ele­gant, bring­ing a clas­sic print pub­li­ca­tion sen­si­bil­ity to the web.

And recently, they fea­tured a pro­file on Nick Sambrato of the print shop, Mama’s Sauce. I’ve worked with them a few times and they always do an excel­lent job. But we are located about 1000 miles away from each other, so it was great to get an inside look into their shop.
