Design Work Life: Cataloging Inspiration Daily

First, I have to stop for a sec­ond and rec­og­nize that this is the 100^th Type Love post! How that is pos­si­ble is beyond me — the last 100 weeks have com­pletely flown by. The most shock­ing thing about that though is prob­a­bly the fact that my type col­lec­tion hasn’t grown expo­nen­tially in that time. Don’t get me wrong, it has grown. But with the amount of type I’m obsess­ing over on any given day, it should be a whole lot big­ger than it cur­rently is.

So back to the task at hand. This ele­gant and pow­er­ful serif is a new Font Bureau release by Cyrus Highsmith. Ibis Display (also check out Ibis Text) was heav­ily influ­enced by both Walbaum and Melior.
