Jay B Sauceda is a Texas-based photographer whose aim is to share the stories and experiences of the people he encounters throughout life. I’m especially loving Sign Painters, a set of personal work featuring various examples of weathered, hand-painted signage.

The Let’s Colour Project is a worldwide initiative from Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Coral and Marshall to transform grey spaces with colourful paint. A mission to spread colour all over the world.
This particular mural, created by Matt Moore in Paris, is just one example of the impact Let’s Colour is having on the world. Check out the Flickr page for a whole lot more.

A wave of nostalgia came over me when I spotted this project by design student Johanna Asseraf. When tasked with the assignment of branding an event, she chose a class party from 1996, when she was eight years old. The entire brand was, amazingly, crafted using Perler Beads, which I had no idea were even made any more. While I was a bit too old for these in 1996, I still think they perfectly capture the whimsicality and imagination of childhood parties. Such a great idea.
