Pictory is a show­case for your best photo sto­ries. Pictory is about true, per­sonal sto­ries, and doc­u­men­ta­tion of our lives and cul­tures. Pictory mem­bers don’t have to be pro­fes­sional pho­tog­ra­phers or writ­ers, but they do have to look, observe, pho­to­graph, and consider.

Pictory was cre­ated by Laura Brunow Miner, the for­mer edi­tor in chief of JPG mag­a­zine. Showcase themes change weekly, and any­one is free to sub­mit a picture+story. If you’re inter­ested in con­tribut­ing, here’s how it works. One of the cur­rent show­cases, Coming Home, was guest designed by Matthew Buchanan and fea­tures twenty-five sto­ries of home.
