Type Love 71: ITC Chino

This week I’m excited by the pos­si­bil­i­ties of one of Linotype’s newest releases, the ITC Chino fam­ily. The fam­ily, designed by Hannes von Döhren and Livius Dietzel, con­sists of 10 text weights and two weights of a com­pli­men­tary dis­play face. There’s  even a whole site devoted to it,where you can check out more details and catch a behind the scenes glimpse of the mak­ing of. As an added bonus one weight of Chino, Black Italic, is avail­able to down­load for free via the link right here.
