A Master of Her Brand

Everyone seems to be talking about the new Kate Spade collection right now. And as much as I love the clothes and accessories, I’m more impressed by the most recent iteration of the brand. It’s a difficult task to continually evolve your look and user experience while still remaining true to — or, even better, further strengthening — your brand. I’ve seen very few companies pull it off, but Kate Spade somehow gets it right every time.

T Magazine Well Openers

In celebraton of their upcoming five year anniversary, T Magazine is taking a look back at their famous artist and designer-commissioned T interpretations. Each issue, contemporary creative people have had the opportunity to reinterpret the New York Times T for the well opener, which is the introductory page to the publication’s advertising-free section of content. (You can read more about the history here.)

Here are a few of my personal favorites (although it was extremely difficult to choose only o few), but check out the entire set of them right here.

I’m trying to hold onto every last drop of the summer that we have left. So I was particularly drawn to this photograph by abby trys again, which — for me — encapsulates all the colors of a fresh, warm and breezy summer day.
