The Hotel Minneapolis Pt. 2

Last week I wrote about J. Zachary Keenan’s typography for the Hotel Minneapolis, as well as a new project from Crystal Barlow. And on a second look at Crystal’s portfolio, I realized she also worked on the project. Without much background information it looks like she was responsible for creating illustrations that were applied to environmental signage and stationery. See a couple more images right here.

    Hi,

Thanks for blogging about my work!

The “behind the scenes” story is that I created the identity (logos, color, etc.) while at a company called Olson. The client then took the project to another company (something that’s frowned upon, but happens a lot) that Crystal had worked for at the time Graphic Culture where she developed the illustrations and applications.
