Lessons Learned

This small book, pub­lished by design stu­dio Forest, is a col­lec­tion of a year’s worth of lyrics, excerpts from books, snip­pets of con­ver­sa­tions and thoughts about their con­nec­tions. I’m lov­ing the sim­ple black print­ing on green paper, and the del­i­cate small pat­terns cov­er­ing each spread.     I really like the sim­plic­ity, although some of the back­ground pat­terns are a lit­tle dis­tract­ing for me.

    This is a gor­geous idea, I love the notion of hav­ing all the roughly scrawled notes and lyrics and snip­pets from a year and then turn­ing them into some­thing final, com­plete, organ­ised. It would be very ther­a­peu­tic to do!
