Recession Cards

I think the last thing any­one wants to hear right now is another com­ment about “this econ­omy” or the “cur­rent finan­cial cli­mate”. But I think this response from Ogilvy is fresh and clever. They designed a series of under­sized busi­ness cards to save on print­ing costs, and printed each of them with thought-provoking mes­sages in order to drive traf­fic to ogilvy​on​re​ces​sion​.com, a site “offer­ing smart strate­gies to deal with the downturn”.

    I agree (with all talk these days turned to the big “R”) and love these responses from Ogilvy. Great find!

    These are kind of cool but hon­estly, I think its a lit­tle lame for com­pa­nies who are oth­er­wise gen­er­ally uncon­cerned with envi­ron­men­tal & social issues to cash in when the heat is on. Feels a lit­tle like green-washing to me.
