Life is Beautiful

I finally got around to seeing Slumdog Millionaire the other night (which was completely amazing by the way, best movie I’ve seen in a long time). And normally I get extremely irritated by the fact that I’m not forced to sit through commercials before the movie starts. But instead I was pleasantly surprised by this whimsical commercial for Office Max, created by The Escape Pod. It was fun seeing all the intricate details on the big screen.

(This is completely random, but the very beginning scene — where she is picking the rubber band balls from the trees — reminded me of Return to Oz when Dorothy picks lunchpails from the trees. Anyone?)

The Return to Oz FREAKED me out as a kid. I think it was all the head switching. Or those guys on wheels. On another note, I’m going to see Slumdog Millionaire tonight (finally!) and I can’t wait!

Yeah, the movie is definitely creepy — especially the guys on wheels. But I loved it anyway. Have fun, you will LOVE the movie!
