Lite Brite 2.0

Somehow I missed this when it made the blog rounds a cou­ple of months ago, so I was extremely excited to come across it this week. Luminodot is a Japanese prod­uct that improves on the orig­i­nal Lite Brite with LED back­light­ing, an online tem­plate gen­er­a­tor and over twice the pegs (it holds 3500!). Lite Brite was a huge part of my child­hood, so of course I can’t wait to get my hands on this. But unfor­tu­nately it’s only avail­able in Japan at the moment, unless you want to shell out the $68 ship­ping on ebay.
