Miniscule, a winner of the 2005 TDC certificate of excellence, is a typeface designed specifically for extremely small sizes. It is intended to be used at the threshold of legibility, which according to 256TM—the foundry — is around 7 points. Five separate versions have been developed for optimal use at 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 points. Sounds like something that could definitely come in handy from time to time.
