According to Telegramme Prints, Tavis Coburn’s unique retro-looking work is influ­enced by 1940s comic book art, the Russian avant-garde move­ment, and printed mate­ri­als from the 1950s/60s. His site is cur­rently under con­struc­tion, but you can down­load a PDF of some recent work right here. And while we wait for his new site to launch, you can pick up lim­ited edi­tion prints in the shop. They’re a lit­tle on the pricey side (at least for me) but they would def­i­nitely liven up a blank wall. Or if you really have some money to throw around, take a look at this over­sized (60″ x 44″) pair of pan­els sold by Telegramme for $1000 each.
